What Bridlewood’s Clients Say

Sandra J. Jordan, Ph.D. - Dec. 4, 2013

It was a pleasure to visit Bridlewood Farms recently and tour the superb facilities you have to offer the equine community.  On behalf of the University of South Carolina Aiken family, I thank you for all you do for the University and our equestrian program.  Without your support and that of Bridlewood Farms, the USCA equestrian program would not enjoy the success it does today.  John and Jenna are tremendous assets to the program and have made a great impact on the USCA IHSA team. We cannot thank you enough for your commitment to our students.

Bridlewood Farms is first class, and the University feels very fortunate to be associated with you, your staff, and the operation you have assembled.  We cannot think of a better fit for the University as it grows and strengthens its equestrian program!

I came to Bridlewood in October 2011 after moving to Aiken from Virginia.  My goals were to improve my equitation and consistency in the Adult Hunter ring as well as move up to 3′.  Before fully signing on to Bridlewood I took one lesson with John Abbott and was completely sold.  John has turned my riding and confidence in my riding around 180 degrees.  I have met my goals of moving up to 3′ without the prior fears I had and I am having fun showing.  I am lucky to have found a trainer who is totally honest and upfront.

I purchased my second horse through John from Holland;  pretty much sight unseen by me.  He has turned out to be a superstar.   Bridlewood has a fun atmosphere without the gossip factor found in most barns.  Everyone pulls for each other.

I’m in my 50’s and this is refreshing to go out to the barn and just enjoy being with the horses, learning and being around other happy folks who share the same passion.  The care of my horses when at Bridlewood is top notch.  Nothing goes unnoticed.

After 6 winters in Aiken, I finally found the very best care for my horses at Bridlewood Farm.  Top class, immaculate facility, excellent care of my horses, and superb training available from John Abbott.  Do not miss this opportunity for you and your horses.
